Totality began at 01:06 UT (November 9th) and lasted until 01:31 UT (third contact). The partial and penumbral phases ended at 03:05 UT and 04:22 UT, respectively.

This eclipse is the last total eclipse of Saros 126 and it takes place at the ascending node of the Moon's orbit in Aries. The nearly grazing geometry of this event is the responsible for the short duration of the totality phase (25 minutes).
