Carme Homs Pons is the winning student for the scholarship offered by the Spanish Astronomical Society to attend the ESO astronomy Camp. SEA scholarship covers the full cost of the camp, including transportation.
The camp will be held from December 26 2015 to January 1, 2016 at the Astronomical Observatory of the Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta, it is located in Saint-Barthelemy, Nus (Italy). The `participants were students aged 16 to 18 who shot a video in English with a maximum of three minutes on "My object / favorite astronomical phenomenon."
A total of 30 students participated in Spain. Besides Homs Carmen Pons, were finalists Sonali Mayani, Maria Civit Solé, Francesc Xavier Alvarez and Laia Ruché Tower.

  • Plazas: hay 56 plazas para jóvenes de países pertenecientes a la ESO, o en la red de difusión de la ESO y un número de plazas se reservan para jóvenes de otros países.
  • Inscripción: consiste en rellenar un formulario que se encuentra en la página de los campamentos y enviar un vídeo de 3 minutos sobre el tema "My favourite Astronomical object / phenomenon" que será considerado como una presentación donde se muestra el interés del solicitante por el campo de astronomía.
