Article in La Vanguardia about the research carried out by the astrophysicist Anna Ferré-Mateu at the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona, ICCUB [IEEC-UB], within La Caixa Junior Leader scholarship programme.

The research of Anna Ferré-Mateu focuses on the detection of dimly lit galaxies that have been impossible to find until now and in the study of their evolution. The observations are made with one of the largest telescopes in Hawaii, in collaboration with the Swinburne University in Melbourne (Australia), where she worked for two years before her work at the ICCUB.
